The Big Easy Cafe and Coffeehouse is located on the downtown Peoria Riverfront on the corner of State and Water Streets. We specialize in gourmet coffees, soups, sandwiches and salads. All our ingredients are of the highest quality and most items are received fresh daily or made to order. Visit our Menu section to learn more of our offerings.

Brought from around the world, Brevé coffee beans are grown in the mountainous regions of Guatemala, Costa Rica, Sumantra, Tanzania, Java, Columbia, Kenya, New Guinea, Zimbabwe and many other remote lands. They are the finest of quality in terms of size, shape, color, density, and bean uniformity.

We sell bagged whole bean or ground to order coffee, as well as fresh brewed and espresso drinks.

The Big Easy Cafe and Coffeehouse is owned and operated by Fred and Bekah Dirkse and Traci Carson. The Big Easy is not a franchise; the concept, menu, and design has been created by us with a great deal of help, advice, ideas, and inspiration from many of our friends, family, and business associates. Our goal is to begin franchising the Big Easy within 3 years.
